My husband had a girlfriend, now it's over and wanys to come home. But, I noticed, a wart like growth on the side of his tongue, maybe one half inch long, and he has warts on his face, head, and back. What could this be?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
If these warts weren't there before- I would have him go see a doctor before I would touch him-- I'm not kidding. Some warts are just that- and they need to be taken off by a doctor- they are unsightly but no big problem- there are however, other warts caused by HPV- a virus that is easily able to be given to another person and can be caught by skin contact. What you have described sounds extreme- but if these have emerged since he has been away with another woman- I would insist on him going to the doctor to find out what's going on. In the meantime, play it safe and don't be intimate with him until you know what he does or does not have. I am not a medical doctor and can't be sure about what is going on - but I do know some warts are quite contagious- so please look into this with a medical professsional.

You might also consider going to a counselor,. I am sure his departure and return has been traumatic for you and you should talk about all this with a trained therapist.

Sounds like he has some type of STD, you may not want to kiss him in the mouth or anywhere else till he goes to see a doctor
