A couple days ago I started having throat/neck pain. Its lower on my neck/throat. It doesn't feel like a sore throat or a pulled muscle. When I touch the area it hurts more. Also, It hurts more when I swallow, yawn or cry. I think it is where my lymph node is located. It's only on the left side. A few hours ago I started having severe, constant pain in my jaw/teeth. Also, on the left side. I don't know if it is related. Any ideas on what's going on? Should I see a doctor?
I have tried heat and throat losangers, neither helped.
I recently started taking my psych meds again - Welbutrin, Lithium & Seroquel
How are you? The pain on your jaw may indeed be caused by teeth issues or infection. The presence of inflamed lymph nodes may suggest infection from the head or neck is also present. Pain medications may help provide relief. If it persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
