MRI Question......

My question is, can a past stroke be detected on a MRI? I've heard after a month or so they begin to heal and might show up on CT's as other various things....(don't remember what there called). I began to have stroke like symptoms in early december, though I can't remember ever having a moment where i felt as if I was having a stroke or anything. I waited for these symptoms to get better....months past and i didn't feel any better. At the end of March I went in for a CT scan....It came out normal. Is there anyway that I could have experienced a stroke an by the time I had the CT scan, it healed? By the way i'm a healty 20 yr old male....how could i have had a stroke... I just want answers, should I go for an MRI? or take the CT for what it is?

What were the so-called "stroke like symptoms". Be specific.

An MRI is a more useful tool for determining a stroke.  You should follow-up with testing.  Not all stroke symptoms are strokes.  Various problems can cause these symptoms.  Good luck!
