Numbness in left side of face

Two or one week ago the left side of my head, mostly at my temple, began to feel numb. Not numb as in pins and needles feeling, but just a loss of feeling, like it was swollen or something.

I have no idea what this is, and my parents blow me off saying it's my anxiety. I can still eat, speak, and make facial expressions alright, but this feeling is disturbing. I feel it along my left forehead, my temple, and occasionally my cheek and my left ear.

Sometimes I think my entire left side of my body has gone numb....and yet they refuse to believe me.

I get the feeling I'm gonna end up suffering something before any action is taken, and I can't do anything, I have no money or insurance to claim to myself.

I thought for a moment I was having a stroke, yet there's nothing else to support this, other then a loss of balance, but this was before this numbness came in.

If anyone has got any answers, please let me know, it'd mean the world to me.

I wish I could, but they don't believe me, and they believe It's just anxiety

I've been making a journal documenting everything I feel, every little thing, so that the Doc can make a proper diagnosis.

I already have a doctor's appointment after some bloodwork, perhaps then some light can be shined on this. I just hope he doesn't brush it off as anxiety, because I am CALM as this happens.

Hi, Joshua.  I gather that you are still young, thus, you need your parents to bring yo to the doc. You really should see a neurologist since your symptoms are progressing. Maybe go to the school nurse and tell her how you feel, maybe if she tells your parents they will believe her. Either way, you have to get yourself checked so you are not worried. Good luck.
