After Infection

Hi, I had my wisdom lower teeth pulled on my bottem left and right side 2 months ago. 1 month after I started to feel pain and the left bottem side of my face started to swell again! I went to the dentist and started takin amoxicillen 3 times a day for 5 days-15 pills total. I finished my pills 6 days ago, and i was fine...but now pain is returning in the same spot, especially when i lay in bed or brush my teeth . Could the infection still be there? Or could it be somthing else? Im in another country till December and really woried it could be somthing serious,and if so really want to get it taken care of :(
