I don´t have an answer to that specific question but I am a runner and haave been for about 30 yrs. I will be seventy in a few months. Whenever I slack off on my running I get very severe muscle cramps in my calves when doing my a.m. wake up stretch or when involved in another activity with my wife. My cure is to start running again.
Lately I have had my fingers and toes cramp up on me something that has never happened before. It is not a painful cramp but I would like to know why this is happenming. That is why I( saw your question. WedHelps article on cramps was not any help to me but might help you.
If you get any replys to your question that might help me with mine please let me know.
