Hi.. One of my patients (2yr old girl) is about to have surgery to finally open her mouth and create a jaw.. She has a tongue and teeth and is fed by NGT since birth.. She has multiple congenital abnormalities (no hands and no feet) but wow, shes a cutie and a smartie.. Theres not a thing wrong with her brain!! So, the surgeon here in the Philippines is worried about hypothermia under anes? Is there anything we can do to prevent this? Also, what can we expect when the mouth is opened? we really do not know what to expect... thanks
