Thank you for your reply. I saw my doctor today, and she was great as far as not dismissing anything. She is referring me to an endo and a pulmonary dr. so hopefully we'll figure something out soon.
High calcium is usually due to a parathyroid disorder, however when the PTH is low other causes must be considered. Medications such as vitamin D, calcium, thiazide diuretics, vitamin A and others can cause this. There are additional blood tests that may be needed as well to screen for other causes of "non-parathyroid hypercalcemia" - talk to your doctor about starting this process or being referred to a specialist.
