The stomach symptoms are likely reflux (bad heartburn).
It really depends on the TSH level -- if it is borderline high (? >3) - then T4 is often used. But sometimes with high antibodies, the thyroid can be borderline overactive (ie lowish TSH) and adding T4 may be inappropriate.
Hi Doc,
I m also suffering a similar problem as mentioned by Daniela.
I had undergone a endoscopy, but seemed normal.
My doctor has not advised me a thyroid test yet , but given me Pantodac. I dont have heartburn.
Is the thyroid problem related to stomach upsets ?
Please advise.

Thank you so much for your help! I will check my TSH level and see if it is borderline high or borderline overactive. However I dont have heartburn. Only a lot of gagging, nauseas and vomit. Also a lot of burping.
Thank you again,
Daniela
