Mixed Drugs

Hi There, I was diagnosed adhd a few years ago. Last spring I was put on levothyroxine because my TSH test came back high. It is now just under the lab's standard so the Dr. will not look more closely at my thyroid. I am still so tired all of the time though, even when I am taking my adderall. Does anyone know if the adderall could be messing with my test results and making it appear as though I have better results?  Darci

Adderall is not known to impact thyroid function tests.
The target TSH is 0.3-2.5 for hypothyroid replacement so if your level is just under the lab standard, it is likely about 4.0 -- which is too high and suggests a dose increase is reasonable with your symptoms.

Are we supposed to take our thyroid medication the morning that we have blood taken? I called the lab and they said ask the Dr. I haven't heard back from the Dr. office yet. Anyone? Darci
