Thyroid symptoms + sono results

For months I've been hoarse with a feeling of compression when breathing out (I run out of breath when speaking). Using Albuterol but this doesn't seem like asthma at all. Recent thyroid sono results below. Do I have anything to be concerned about? Results came in while Endo is on vacation for a few weeks. Would an MRI show if thyroid is compressing anything? My appt. is 3 weeks away. Thanks.

LUP contains complex nodule: 0.81 x 0.59 x 0.58cm
LU/MP contains complex predominantly solid nodule w/ Grade 1-2 flow: 1.54 x 0.64 x 0.72cm
LM/LP contains complex ill defined nodule w/ Grade 1-2 flow: 0.86 x 0.79 x 0.78cm
LLP contains isoechoic nodule w/ halo w/ Grade 3 flow: 1.23 x 0.82 x 0.97cm
RUP contains hypoechoic ill defined nodule w/ Grade 1 flow: 0.61 x 0.31 x 0.45cm

Also there are several "ill defined" enlarged lymph nodes.

The nodules are small and would no likely cause compressive symptoms.  You didn't mention overall overall thyroid size - so if large (diffuse) goiter even with small nodules, could cause symptoms.  The lymph node description is unclear, so would need to look closely at ultrasound images.  The nodules seem to fall below criteria for FNA based on what you are describing.  CT or MRI can help further evaluate compressive symptoms.  If  you are hoarse, would see ENT otherwise if short of breath only then pulmonary function testing can help sort this out more.

Thank you for your response. I am no longer concerned. To answer your question about overall thyroid size, the report says:

The right lobe measures 4.94 x 1.15 x 1.30 cm; the left lobe measures 4.92 x 1.12 x 1.33cm. The echotexture of the gland is homogenous.

I don't understand how that could be related to goiter size?
