Timing for radioiodine ablation
Could any-one tell me how long does some-one have to wait before radioiodine ablation is carried out after completion thyroidectomy. I was placed on triiodothyronine 20mg tds after my surgery 7 weeks ago and as yet have had no indication if or when this should take place.

Usually 6-10 weeks after surgery.  So would call your doctor to discuss RAI in terms of indication/need and timing.
