Too Much Medication

I am 33 and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 7 years ago and since then I have never felt the same.  Recently, I've started feeling worse and had blood work taken.  I've seen both my family doctor and endocrinologist and they both say the same thing - my thyroid is balanced.  I think they are incorrect.  My lab results are as follows:  T4 is 1.2, T3 is 3.3 and TSH is .08.  I am under 25 mcg of Levoxly and 30 mg twice daily (60) of Armour Thyroid.  I feel lightheaded, dizzy, nervous, hair falling out and the list goes on.... Am I under too much medication? Am I now hyer?  I think I am.... They say the TSH should be at 0..?  I thought it was between .5 and 3.  Can you shed some much needed light - so I don't go crazy?  Many Thanks!

You are on too much medication -- with your symptoms would suggest decreasing the armour which tends to be more stimulating then re-evaluating.  The TSH should be around 1.0.  0.08 is too low - and is due to excessive medication.

I tried more meds and my symptoms got really really bad.  This is my 2nd day off of all meds and I feel better already.  I think I was misdiagnosed - i'm hyper not hpyo.

Get your free's tested to see where you are really at.  If your frees are low, you need more thyroid medication.  Your TSH doesn't really show what your thyroid is really doing.  If you dr. won't test free's, find one that will.

Sorry.... I know I need to limit my questions, but I haven't had good docotors for 7 yrs and now I'm all messed up.  My blood work showed that my lymphocytes are low (17) normal is 24-44, is that because I'm Hyper, due to being over medicated? Not sure what it means. And now I feel nodule on the side of my neck and front =0 Could this wait to see a doctor on 2/22 or should I press to get in earlier? I'm so upset. Thanks for the much needed help!

Thanks for the response.  I made an appointment with a new Endo for 2/20, I hope he agrees I'm on too much medication.  In the meantime, can you recommend how much I should cut back on my meds?  The past couple of days my heart has been beating fast, heart palpitations, insomnia to add to my many hyper symptoms.  I know Armour is a fast-acting med, so how long does it take to get out of my system. I didn't take it this morning, only 25 mcg Levoxyl.  Also, I think I have a small nodule on my neck, is that possible from having too much meds for 7yrs? I think I don't need any meds and was misdiagnosed?!?!?! Thank You!!!!
