can I get pregnant after thyroidectomy

can I get pregnant after thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer? I do not have period after the surgery. I am 43 years old. i am on Eutroxsig 100 ug.
can I get pregnant artificially if in case I have my menopause??
please help

I did we just had to make sure my TSH levels were in check.  I have had two health and happy boys since then.  Good luck on your adventures

Absolutely, I have many thyroid cancer patients who have had successful pregnancies.  It is important to remember that your thyroid medication will likely need to be increased (as much as 25-40%) during pregnancy - so having your levels (TSH) checked before and during is critical.

I have had patients who undergo fertility assistance w/ success as well if needed.
