My son had a ultrasound and has no nodgules, but does have an enlarged hetergenerous thryoid.
I am not happy with the doctors response, "repeat blood tests in 3 months." I am considering
taking him to an endocrinologist or ENT doctor for a second opinion. Questions: What should I
be concerned about with this diagnosis? Would you recommend going to another doctor? I am
concerned because thyroid problems run in the family, and he lowered his thyroid medicine, stating
it was too high. Very concerned mom.
