hyperparathryoidism

Looking for some guidance and if anyone has had these levels.  I have a teen who is athletic her high blood pressure prompted further blood work.  Results were calcium level at 13.5 and parathyroid hormone 293.  Appt is scheduled next week for a consultation with endocrinologist.  What has been anyone else's experience.  I have a history of thyroid cancer with hashimotos thyroiditis.  Also a mother that had one of her parathyroids removed.  Anyone else with a family history of thyroid issues.
Thank you in advance

If confirmed, then we treat this with parathyroid surgery.  Ultrasound prior to surgery would be helpful to identify any thyroid nodules and identify the abnormal parathyroid.
