Two weeks ago while having a routine exam my pcp felt a thyroid nodule on the lower right lobe of my thyroid. I have since had a ultrasound of the thyroid which showed an 11 mm x 7 mm hypoechoic, inhomogeneous nodule that is circumscribed with minimal vascular processes. I have also had blood workup (Free T3, Free T 4, and Antibodies) which all have come back normal. Tomorrow I am to have a Thyroid Nuclear Scan. Should any of this be of any concern?
