Hi guys, I'm kind of new at this. I just had my second biopsy in two years (negative), but I've been reading more.
I was told by endo that thyroid antibodies are present-she didn't tell me level - She doesn't feel that TSH is problem till its over 5. T3 and T4 she said are normal.
I have access to some, not all of my past blood work. (I have a call into my primary care guy-I think it would be a good idea to limit blood work to 1 lab in future) In January, over a 2 week span my TSH went from 4.81 to about 1.8. Reference range for the lab is 4.5 being the high mark for normal. Blood work normally only done twice a year.
Is the fact that TSH swung by such a large percentage over two weeks indicative of anything?
She doesn't seem to think I need to be treated, but I have read that if you have antibodies, interpreting the lab work can be very misleading. Also, I have a long history of painful and sometimes irregular periods. I'm on my third month of period coming a week earlier then expected each month.
I do more than 1 cyst-the one that was just bx is 1.3 cm-she mentioned vascularity and calcifications, I know there is a fluid cyst of about 3 cm.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks.
