I have requested for the slides be looked at again so they sent it to the pathology. Do you think another biopsy is necessary? Would you recommend seeing another endocronologist out of my network?
yes - a good second opinion on FNA slides is important in these cases.

I was told that the test result is 'inconculsive' and that they can't tell anything until it's taken out and then further examination can be done thus the surgery/removal. I am also considering a 2nd opinion. Do you think I should?
The FNA interpretation is important -- if it is a follicular lesion then there is about a 20% risk of cancer. Would consider having the slides sent for expert opinion at U Florida or Johns Hopkins, etc --- If follicular lesion is confirmed, then it's a matter of odds - you could have the surgery and if proven benign, then go ahead with pregnancy and not lose much time.
