HIGH TSH AND 26 WEEK PREGNANT

I am on the 26th week of pregnancy and i just had my TSH checked for the first time during pregnancy. You see my doctor never told me before that i should check it at the begining and during my pregnancy nor had he informed me about the adverse effects on the fetus caused by elevated TSH. Well my TSH was 3.09 and the previous check up which i had done one month before conception showed a TSH level of 1.82. So yesterday i visited an Endo who immediately gave me medicins (Euthyrox 50 mg) and told me that i will have another check up in 3 weeks.
What i want to ask is:
a. Is it possible that the TSH was more elevated than 3.09 from the begining of my pregnancy till now? What i mean is could it be for example 5 or 6 or even more in the previous weeks and has fallen to 3.09 in the 26th week without any treatment or does TSH usually increases during the pregnancy of a woman who is hupo and does not know it, like my case.
b. Do you really think that discovering that i have an elevated TSH late in my pregnancy poses an important risk for my baby´s health?
Please inform me because i am really worried. And forgive my English writting.
Τhank you on behalf

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
TSH of 3.09 is very low risk for complication, however treatment is reasonable.
TSH usually increases during pregnancy, so it is very unlikely the TSH was higher during the first trimester.
