Tingling, buzzing, numbness

Hullo,
My wife has suffered constant buzzing in the head, tingling in the feet and hands with a general 'electrical' feeling all over for 6 months now. She has been on thyroxine for 30 years for hypothyroidism. I have noticed that low calcium levels can cause these symptoms. Is it possible for there now to be a parathyroid problem realted to the chronic hypothyroidism?

Many thanks for your quick answer. We'll follow up on the calcium route. We happen to have an appointment coming up with a neurologist but were concerned that the endicronology was being ignored. Thanks again.

would have calcium tested.
If the electric feeling continues - see a neurologist.
