Is this normal?

Hi,

Im going through a tough moment since my mother in law had a total thyroidectomy around a month ago. She´s medicated Calcium, Vitamin D and T4, but the symptoms do not look normal. She has a total loss of appetite, low blood pressure, severe fatigue with overall weakness (she can barely walk or sit), and alarming weight loss. Our physician does not have a clear answer, and obviously im seeking a second opinion. Are those symptoms really alarming and an immediate action should be taken?

Thanks in advance,

Ark

I too have had my thyroid removed and was just given an increase in my synthroid. Since the increase i feel like I'm on fire, my heart is pounding and skipping. I am very tired, easly aggitated and can't sleep. I don't know what to do

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Would see an endocrinologist for general evaluation including cortisol (adrenal) testing.
Certainly making sure the TSH, T4 and calcium levels are normal would be part of that.
