Hypothyroid and then Hyperthyroid??

I had a routine examination 3 monthes ago.  Had a sono that found a multinodular goiter ( solid nodules all 8mm or smaller, my TSH was 6.53.  The dr. wanted me to have a blood test in 3 monthes.  I went last week and had the blood test.  The dr.said that the blood test came back abnormal and I had to come in. When I saw the dr., she told me that my TSH was now 0.16 and my T4,Free was 1.9.  She checked me for tremors, heart palpatations, etc. and I had no symptoms.  She also asked me if I  had taken any medications, which I did not.  She was very surprised about this result and did not have an answer as to how it happened that I went from 6.54 to 0.16 in a 3 month period. I had another blood test taken to see if it was a lab error.  I will get the results next week.  Could this happen, or is it most likely an error?

I got a phone call from my Doctor today. The results of my blood test came back.
It was not a lab error.  The TSH went in 1 week from 0.16 to 0.10.  The T4 Free is still 1.9.  I was instructed to go for a Thyroid Scan.  I do not seem to have any major symptoms.  I do get hot flashes but it is normal at my age (57) and I have some numb sensation in my arm and fingers but not major and I may be paranoid because I am worried.  I am hoping that it is thyroiditis and goes away. I did have symptoms of a virus a month ago and was under the weather. I get so nervous because I did have DCIS with microinvasion 4 years ago and had a masectomy.  My doctor said the chances of it being cancer are very slight.  The fact that it is happening so suddenly with no major symptoms confuses me.  I have reservations to go to Sarasota on Wednesday.  I found out the the scan takes 2 days, so I will try to have it done on Monday and Tuesday.  I hope I can get it done before I leave so I can have some answers when I come back.  I do have GHI.  If I need to see an Endocrinologist when I am there, can I see you?
What symptoms should I watch out for?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
may have been a lab error or a transient thyroiditis.
Would usually repeat the level in 5-6 weeks to determine the trend before considering any treatment.

I experience the same and would love to know if anyone could let me know if there is anything I can take to lesson the tremors.  At times my whole body seems to tremor at times I feel verrrrrrry cold.  I am using 1 125mg Amour Thyroid per day as well as 1 0.5mg of Thyroxin.  I need to use both to keep my T3 and T4 levels up.

I also shift between Hypothyroid and Hyperthyroid.  am very slim and just do not manage to gain any weight at all.  My weight is at 44 kilograms and I am 160cm in length
