hello,
I have had hypothryroid for 17 years now...I had the same symptoms as you did...loss of appetite, VERY dry hands/skin, feeling tired alot....however ever since i was diagnosed and started taking the correct amount of synthroid and/or levothyroxine my symptoms have gone away 80 percent and I started feelign good again instantly.
I dont think and have never read about pregnancy problems being related to Hypothyroid.....
I would check with your doctor to make sure you are taking the right dosage if you havent seen any improvement or changes in your symptoms.
good luck....ciao
The TSH is a little low. May consider a slight dose decrease especially if trying to conceive. The male/female hormone levels are not likely related to the levo dose or the TSH level.
Hi! Although I am certainly not a doctor, I have been diagnosed with Hypothyroid & have done ENORMOUS research on the subject, & I have no idea why you are on the meds. Was your TSH high & your T4 low at beginning of dx? At the levels you describe now, they seem to be exactly where they should be. Where the Drs. are telling me that want to get me to. Have the doctors done more blood tests? Could it be due to menopause? Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good Luck!!
