My 10 year old daughter Emily is very lazy ,twice this year she has pass out on me for no reason what so ever,she always complaints that something is sore, like her feet tonight, but she as done no physical exercise, she had a blood test which rule out diabetics do you think this could be related to the thyroid gland or something similar,my mother had her thyroid gland removed for similar reasons please help?

My last post was not correct. The nodule is the same size at 5mm but is surround by a cyst that has the other measurements. The cyst wasn't mentioned in the report from 3 years ago but was referenced as being the same as it was last time.
So I had an ultrasound done today and the same nodual that was 5mm 3 years ago is now 1.7cm and classified as a fluid filled cyst. This was only from the mouth of the ultrasound technician. There may have seen a slight amount of solid material. Is this cause for concern now?
Most (90-95%) of these are benign lumps but ultrasound followup is indicated. Would not be linked to testicles likely, but you are right that they are both glandular tissue.
