Low T3, Normal TSH & T4

Because of numerous Hypothyroid Symptoms, I just had a Thyroid Panel run, which produced the following results;

TSH = 2.6 (0.35 - 5.50)
T3 = 30 (80 - 230)
T4 = 6.6 (5 - 14)
FT4 = 2 (0.8 - 2.4)

I was told by the doctor's nurse that my results were normal.  Should I be concerned that my T3 is so low on the actual LabCorp Report?

That's a low T3 -- would consider repeat as free T3 to confirm.  Otherwise, looks okay but consider thyroid antibodies given the symptoms and the TSH of 2.6 -- may be early Hashimoto's and with this TSH treatment may not help, but if antibody (TPO-Ab & Tg-Ab) positive, then would monitor thyroid levels 1-2 x / year.

I recently had my TSH tested and it came back 7.18. ,my doctor just put me on meds and told me to take for  8 wks and retest, to see if it needs to be adjusted.  I notice it makes me jittery, and have a problem with speaking.  The words come out all wrong sometimes.

I just had my 6 month post test UND for HepC.  I treated for 48 wks, and concerned that taking these meds may cause further damage ?   I had lost 117 lbs during treatment and have since gained back 25 lbs. Which is why I went back to doctor, as I did not want to gain back any of it.    Its holding steady now that I am on the medication, but I am concerned about the shakeiness I feel, and not being able to speak right.   As that is my job.   I am on the phone all day long.  It appears the treatment caused me to have hypothyroidism.   Which could have been my problem before this treatment, as I also did treatment in 93, and ballooned after that, and developed diabetes.. etc etc, but that has all cleared as well, now that I lost the weight.     Its just the thyroid issue.   Do I have to take that for the rest of my life ?

From what I have read & researched the new high llimits for TSH is 3.0.  From what I understand one can have borderline hypothyroidism even in the 1.78 range (which I am in).)  Hope this helps.   I am sure other's will chime in as there are a lot of wonderful people on this forum.
