Ultrasound results

I had an us done and would like to know if anyone can tell me if it sounds serious: right lobe 4.7 x 1.9 x 1.4cm. Left lobe 5.2 x 1.9 x 1.4cm. On the right, a hypoechoic nodule 13 x 10 x 9mm, primarily solid with some central vascularity and microcalcifications. Left, 11x9x7mm nodule, hypoechoic and heterogeneous with central vascularity  and small component of cystic change and scattered microcalcifications.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
These are small nodules that should undergo additional evaluation given the comment on microcalcifications.  I would recommend a consultation with an endocrinologist who does his/her own ultrasound in the office for further evaluation and possible biopsy.  Approximately 5-10% of nodules are malignant, the vast majority are benign.
