With the normal TSH levels, hard to conclude that the presence of TPO antibodies (meaning autoimmune thyroid disease) would impact menstrual flow. There is evidence that TPO antibodies influence fertility and miscarriage rages - so if pregnancy is planned, this should be discussed with your doctor. Selenium is the only supplement that has been shown to possibly decrease TPO levels (at least in properly done research studies).
Please help me, I'm very worried I'm 8 weeks pregnant and my tsh level is 7.8 then my t3 and t4 are in normal range. Then my doctor stop my thyroid medicine because my baby can be affected with that medicne. Is that true, I don't know what to do.. please help me..:(
