help im at a loss here

Have been diagnosed 4 yrs ago. I am taking.now, 100mcg of Levothroxine, I have been as high as 150 mcg and have taken both levothroxine and synthroid and right now the 100mcg 's is  not working and the doc wont listen to me does blood test says im fine. i am still gaining weight now 300lbs, I am still losing my hair, extremely tired, orange peel skin, depressed feelings. I cant go to another doctor, i have no insurance.need help, have 2yr old child and no energy to play. I am starting to go down hill with my job and my marriage is rocky at best right now because i cant get it under control. is there anything i can do andything naturaleven. i am doubled in weight. Please help me. I am a CNA so constantly moving and on my feet.please.

The TSH goal range is about 0.4-2.5 depending on the lab used, etc -- so the first thought is make sure the TSH is in/near that range.  Then consider adding some T3 to the levothyroxine -- this sometimes helps.

Also, with the stress - it may not be thyroid - stress causes symptoms that are sometimes difficult to sort out from thyroid symptoms.  The only symptom you have that may not be stress is the orange-peel skin.

will have to ask for copies of last lab form doctor and then get back to you. Am not sure right now. My memory and consentration are not the best right now. thank you for you interest in me.Mary

Do you have any current labs? Or at least, what did your last ones reveal (if not current)?
You probably know but you can ask for copies of your blood work.
