Thyroid blood tests

if the thyroid blood test come out good, does this rule out thyroid cancer. i suspect thyroid disorder or thyroid cancer but my doctor says my thyroid blood test are perfect and if the blood work is good then there is no cancer. is this correct?

Post results here if you have them.  If not suggest you get a copy for your records.  Some lab ranges are outdated so best to check for yourself.

no blood test for cancer -- for cancer we do an ultrasound and biopsy any suspicious lesions.  most patients with thyroid cancer have normal thyroid labs.  but 95% of thyroid nodules are benign.
