lymphadenopathy

I am a 29 yr. old female. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer (papillary carcinoma) a little while ago. I had a total thyroidectomy and also ten lymph nodes removed.About two weeks ago I finished my RAI treatment and then had the body scan. They found intense uptake in the neck and said that there was lymphadenapthy caused by functioning thyroid neoplams. The doctor said that we would wait three months and then do some testing to see what's going on then. Has anyone had this and been fine? Or did you need more treatment or surgery?

Would work with endocrinologist who does his/her own ultrasound to evaluate for lymph nodes and see if more treatment is needed (ie more I-131 or additional surgery) or if this situation can be monitored closely to see the true trend.

I had for 3.5 years overative thyroid. My endo sugested removing my thyroid function on 2 nd vist. I didn't like to go with that option, but wanted to stay longer on the pills Tapazole  for reducing throid function & Propananol for lowering hart palpitations and I also took  antioxidants to heal me from herbal store, I changed the way I eat, no salt no sea food / except for fish/ freshly made from scratches food with a lot of herbs and spices that  are great for taste and andioxidants, like fenigurek, tumeric, cayan peper, curry, / Indian stores / a lot of veggies, onoin, green onion...
I was taking Vit C - bioflavinoids -1000 mg, quality  Q 10 -biquinol, Selenium, Vit D, herbal sleeping teas or herbal sleep aid  on and off > My tests are normal now. I tried to avoid stress & focus on relaxation - deep breathing, walks, comedy movies, positive thinking that  I'm healing.  The sickness came after a big stress and I belive this is the cose plus all the chemicals in air, food, cosmetics, soaps, detergents... I was thinking  It came it's self it will go it's self- my endo looked at me thinking like there is something wrong with me. When he looke at my last blood test he said what ever you did helped and he didn't even asked what. he was telling me those pills my hurt my liver. yes I felt bloated every time I ate, i gain weight in last two years, I asked the endo for ultrasound he said he will cal if it was wrong he didn't I asked two days ego to give me copies of my teast he said I would have call you if they were wrong but I insisted and guess what I have fatty liver - knowig hwich last september when I did I would have curred it long ego by diet, so if you do not wat this happend to you taking above pills avoid eating pastry, alcohol, coffe, fat - look the diet and you will heal faster then I.
So see your endo, take the copy of the tests & check them & compare it yourself, you will know if you take the right doses.
I lowered doses what he suggested becose I felt no energy so I knew it must not be good  for me . So do not panick you can cure it, / I did panic, I didn't sleep first year I was worry to take the radioctive pill/  just, take pills and see how you fill, don't stress, eat well,  make sure you rest well. Remember  food can kill or can heal so google what you want read and fallow your instinct what is good for you. Good luck
