thyroid test results

i recently decided to see an endocrinologist because of thyroid disorder.  i got my labs back. went to the doc and he put me  on slightly more synthroid .5 and told me that all of my other symptoms were depression! my doc just insisted that other than low potassium and hypothyroid, i was just depressed. i have terrible cramps in my muscles,  my ankles ache with a deep ache which no amount of massage seems to help. doc ran arhritis test, it was negative. i  am sleepy most of the time, my fingers and toes tingle and i feel strangely heavy.. as if i cannot put one foot in front of the other , not one more time.  i have just enough force of will or "grit" to get to work and back , then on the weekend, i dont do anything, because i dont have any more get up and go.  i am not depressed, i have a loving marriage and great family,  but i feel that my body is not cooperating with me. i feel that this malady is physical, not mental.  i have one kidney, (born that way) is it possible that adrenal problems may be present? does having one kidney mean i only have one adrenal gland? anyway,  i want to see a doctor who will listen to me and not brush me off!   how can i find such a one?   also my glucose was 118 so doc sent me for  glucose test on tuesday, no results yet.  here are my basic labs
t4 free 0.70 lab reference (0.59-1.17)ng/dl
t4 thyroxine 9.2 lab reference (4.7-13.3)ug/dl
t3 uptake  27  no lab reference
tsh 3.97 lab  reference (0.34-4.82) uiu/ml
anti thyroglob  20(I) lab  reference (0-40)  iu/ml
also my labs showed high folic acid.. 13.1 lab reference >5.4 g/ml   potassium 3.4  (lab reference 3.6-5.2 mmol/l)
b12 was 339 (f)  lab reference 211-911 pg/ml     can you give me some insight into what i should do next?    can it really be that this in just in my head?

Before 7 months my levels were:
FREE T4   1,1ng/dl
TSH           1,4 mIU/ml
Anti-Tg      35,0 IU/ml
Anti-M      12,0 IU/ml
TG            40,0 ng/ml

I had a cold nodule 2,5 cm.  i started T4 100mcg and the FNA was ok.
Now my levels are:
FREE T4  11,0 ng/ml
TSH          1,16 mIU/ml
the nodule 3,5 cm and i found out 2 more nodules. The FNA was good again.
What should i do? I dont know anything about T3. SHOULD I?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
The increase in thyroid medication seems appropriate.  Would also try B12 supplements -- oral or sublingual is probably fine.

You may only have one adrenal -- a not so common cause of low potassium is increased aldosterone production from the adrenal -- this usually is associated with high blood pressure.

Other evaluations to consider would be rheumatology and perhaps neurology.  Depression can cause these symptoms, but additional evalutations are often done first to exclude a medical diagnosis.
