hi. how are you today? i hope you are well.
i've written in many times...female, had silent thyroiditis, was on syntrhoid, currently off synthroid and have had normal thyroid function for almost a year without meds. however, i always have these daggone neck lymph nodes that always show up on sono. i've never had any biopsied or fine needled because the lymph nodes look reactive/normal. however, i feel a small lymph node on the left side just above my collarbone, and i feel like the entire left side of my neck is lumpy. i did have a stomach virus a couple of weeks ago, and my kids have had strep. should i just relax and wait a couple of weeks to see they go down? maybe i'm being a hypochondriac, which i can be at times. but what's normal? should i be able to feel any lymph nodes above my collarbone? it's not huge, but i can't feel any on the other side.
thanks,
maria
