tapering...can this be expedited?

hello.  i'm back.  still on treatment for silent thyroiditis.been over 2 years now..hyper to hypo.  112 to 88 to 50 now of levothyroxin.  i'm on the yoyo and frustrated.  just when i start to feel good, i think i start to fluctuate.  about 3 months ago before i tapered from 88 to 50, i had migraines, auras, consistenly high blood pressure, hair falling out, etc., and no doctors would attribute the high bp or migraines to the excess of thyroid meds ... even when my tsh was .1.  now that my tsh is .69, my high blood pressure miraculously disappeared.

anyways, i'm just wondering, can i taper more quickly?  3 months ago on 88 i was .1 or .01 ... now on 50 i'm at .69.  can i taper a little more and see how i do because i really don't want to wait until i become hyper...i don't enjoy those symptoms.

also, my voice has suddenly deepened.  i'm guessing it's a virus or something, but i don't have any other symptoms.  could it be thyroid-related?

thanks for the response.  i will be starting on iron pills now, as the iron deficiency is confirmed with ferritin 5  and total iron at 15.  i guess that fatigue that i feel when exercising isn't from thyroid....

You can probably taper faster - talk w/ your doctor.
You have iron deficiency based on the other labs.  Would ask your doctor for evaluation/treatment options.

also, i want to mention i have a lot of irregular heart beats.  drives me nuts.  i also have low hemoglobin 10.4, low mch, low mchc, and high rdw at 17.2, and restless leg syndrome (probably from low iron) which also drives me nuts.

could being on too much meds cause this or contribute to it?

i know that i shouldn't blame everything on thyroid, but thyroid hormones do control almost everything, right?  this is why i want to taper a little more quickly...or do you think it could cause a worsening of things/symptoms?
