Dr I was sluggish and tired before iodine contrast ct scan and hyper after it...is that normal or is that showing me something?? Thanks
Dr ... my Thyroid numbers are within range (marginal) but I was sluggish and tired before an iodine contrast scan and hyper with elevated blood pressure after the scan.... is that normal after an iodine contrast scan or is that telling me something about my thyroid??

If you mean that you were hyperthyroid after a scan, then there may be an underlying thyroid problem that resulted in over-production of thyroid hormone after an iodine load. Common culprits are Graves Disease and hot nodules.
