what are the risk if i get pregnant while under Tapazole?

i am curious if i can get pregnant while under medication of tapazole, i was diagnosed with hyperthyroid and for 3 years i have been under the care of a doctor and lately she again increased my dosage... last june 2008 my TSH was 1.25mU/L ( 0.35-5.50) ; FT3 was 3.19pg/ml ( 2.30-4.20) ; FT4 was 1.37ng/dl ( 0.89-1.76) then last november 2008 TSH was 2.74 (0.32- 5.00uU/ml  and my last analysis was this june 2009 and my FT3 was 4.1 ( 4.0-9.3 pmol/L) ; FT4 was 1.0 (0.7-2.0ng/dl). now i am asked to take 1/2 tablet of Tapazole 5mg four times a week aside from the omeopathic drugs the doctor prescribed me to take.... can i go on with my plan of getting pregnant and stop the medication?? thank you.

Based on the most recent levels the dose can be decreased or stopped in most cases such as you describe (you did not mention the TSH for june 2009).

I presume you have Graves Disease.  Often during pregnancy there is an improvement in graves but this must be monitored closely.  For hyperthyroidism in pregnancy that is severe, we have traditionally used PTU but recent re-evaluation of PTU safety issues brings up more concerns of liver toxicity, so we may (like other parts of the world already do) end up preferring tapazole during pregnancy.

Homeopathic medications should be used with caution - in your case make sure they do not contain iodine (ie, kelp, etc) which can be fuel for an already overactive thyroid.
