Severe, strange headaches.

Hello, I am very worried about the severity of headaches I've been having and think it might be serious. I have had a slight concussion 6 months prior to this just to clear any confusion. Anyway, just under a month ago, I was coming back from visiting my parents house on a greyhound bus. Unfortunately for me the bus ride was about 16 hours long. I got through about 10 hours of it when I started feeling sick. I felt like I had a fever and I was very nauseous. I tried to just sleep it through but whenever I tried to fall asleep a weird shocking feeling came upon me the was felt throughout my head and my upper spine. I told the bus driver that I was having these extremely scary feeling so I got off at the nearest hospital. When I got off the bus, surprisingly I couldn't walk straight. I had to be helped into the hospital. They did a blood and a urine test on me, and said nothing was wrong. My BP was normal and my blood sugar was fine. They said just to follow it up with my doctor. On the way home I had the exact same feeling so I had to stop at another hospital. I got there and they diagnosed me with a simple muscle spasm in the back of my head. The doc gave me a muscle relaxant and told me it would be better the next day. I waited and nothing changed. Now for the past month and a half, I have been having sharp headaches on the top of my head and in the front right part of my head and very severe anxiety attack, which come with random chest pain, anxiety or not.  Sometimes the headaches feel like someone is pulling hairs off of my head but slowly and painfully. I've also had a numb feeling, or tight feeling, in the front part of my neck, below my chin and that one of my pupils are bigger than the other. I have to wait two months for a neurologist but I am very scared and don't know what to do. I've talked with my doctor and he has recommended an MRI but I have to wait for that also. Can someone can solve this headache mystery?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Many people suffer from travelling or motion sickness and this could have happened in the bus. This could also be aggravated if you had a pinched cervical spinal nerve. At times ear problems also cause headache and nausea vomiting etc. Your doctor has rightly asked for a MRI and this should be done. Meanwhile also get your blood pressure checked. High Bp can also cause headaches. Take care!

Sounds like a big mystery that I'm sure can't be solved without a MRI!  There are so many things that can play into headaches!  When you say numb and tight feelings that someone is pulling your hair...reminds me of Neuralgia!
Get a MRI!  That will be your best answer!  Good Luck
