I contracted CA-MRSA about 5yrs ago. Ever since then, despite changing my diet (eliminating sugar as much as possible, doubling down on garlic, rasins and blueberries and eating "cleam"), bathing in hibiclens/bleach water mixtures, taking vitimins and supplements to boost my immune system and other combative tactics I still suffer from outbreaks. I was recently tested and discovered I am colonized with MRSA as well, despite my efforts to rid myself of the superbug. Prior I had been only seeing the effects of MRSA via boils (always on my thigh, the original source of the outbreak). I currently have an outbreak RIGHT NOW (boils on my thigh) and am fighting it as usual, but this time I feel excessively run down and right around the time signs of the break out started (3days ago) I began feeling head and neck pain. My scalp feels tight and often bruised. If I touch there are very soft spots. They run across the top my head and down the back of my head into my neck and shoulders. I also feel like my eye (my left eye notably) is bulging out. Pressure behind it. I feel weird things in my head I can only describe as "movement", like there is randomly something moving or shifting in my head. I also have developed the symptoms of the onset of a cold, my throat a little dry. I've heard that MRSA can travel into the blood, lungs and bones and also the brain and I am worried this may be what is happening. I DO suffer from migraines as well and this is NOT anything like a migraine/tension headache I've dealt with for a lifetime. Do I have reason to be concerned? What should I look for as far as 'danger symptoms'? Anyone have insight on this? Thank you...
