Sucking the scalp with a vacuum

I'm sucking my scalp using a helmet attached to a vacuum cleaner, for increasing blood flow and causing hair regrowth.
I take a 5 minute break for every 15 minutes I use it. Can it cause any kind of damage to the nerves inside the skull?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Please do not indulge in such activities. Vacuum can cause serious avulsion of scalp, capillary leak, tearing of blood vessels and may precipitate a headache too. Additionally it can not help hair re-growth in any way. Please consult a dermatologist for this.
Take care!

Oh that scares me. Can you explain how the vacuum can be so damaging as to tear blood vessels and all?
I used an online service to chat with a doctor and had asked about this. He said the blood flow to the scalp is different from blood flow to the brain, so the vacuum shouldn't cause any damage to the brain.
