Unknown head pain

Since the beginning of the day I have felt an odd sense of someone pricking on the front - left side of my brain. I have to add that I'm 21 years old. I'm very concerned and would like an answer as soon as possible.
Sorry about my grammar.

If that is the only symptom, I would wait a week and then obtain a medical opinion.

I would walk into an emergency room, if your physician won't refer you for an MRI scan.

These conditions are usually self-limiting, often one never finds out the cause, and one seems foolish to go to general quarters.

On the other hand, there is always the remote possibility of an impending stroke, and fortunately, in the United States, with an MRI, we have a way of evaluating many problems in a relatively inexpensive and non-invasive way.

Get a booklet and log the symptoms on a daily basis.

At the end of a week, if the situation has noit resolved, see a physician.

If the symptoms get worse at any time, go to the ER.
