Head trauma/brain recovery

On 5/28/2010  I was hit from behind and received  a hard blow to the back of my head, cracked my scull, layed in ICU 3 days, came home 3 days later, no med. no pain. Went trough rehab, finished rehab good. About that time we  found I had and inner ear problem. Dr. put me on Zyrtec and flonase .  The Zyrtec about sent me over the edge.  We stopped that. They than put me on citalopram an anti depres and Apprazolam. After two weeks we decied I was having side affects from citalopram. They took 12 days to work me off citalopram. By the way about that time I finally got in to see and ENT doctor.  Turns out I lost a little bit of hearing in my left ear and the feelings I was having in the  inner ear  was normal for the ear to go through from loss of some hearing. That will subside eventually they say. My question is I think I am having withdraw symtoms from coming of the citalopram. The wild feelings I have been having are described to the T on the blogs I have read. Its been 3 weeks since I have been off them completly. They have vanished some. Is this my brain recovering of withdraw form the med. I thought I felt good enough to do a few chores outside yesterday, after that, that afternoon I went backwards. I done that 3 or 4 times in the last 4 months. Am I rushing it. If so how long do I need to stay down.
