i got a beating in a fight with my friend in which my left part of the brain was hit by some table corner or some hard thing after that part above my left eye is paining in zigzag manner it happened some 6 to 8 months back from that time upto know my mental condition is not good i am not able to sleep well i am not able to concentrate on my studies as previously also i was being hit on that part of the brain i have got weaken in my studies and  i am doing some abnormal things like a mentally retarded person  i am not having a sharp brain in studies as i used to have previously .the part above my left eye is paining continuously . i feel as if i will commit suicide.i am not having any idea what to do so.please help me

You are probably stressed out because of the fight and subsequent injury and could be suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Other than that it can be due to frontal lobe injury that occurred due to the hit on the head and hitting table.
You need psychotherapy to overcome the stress and a MRI of the brain to see if there has been some traumatic brain injury. Please consult a doctor and get this examined. There are many tools to improve memory and a psychotherapist can help you with that. Take care!

Try to get into a neurologist and see if there is any brain damage. My husband was hit in the head while at work and they thought nothing of it gave him some stitches and sent him back to work. Three months later we discovered he had developed petite maul seizures and will have them for the rest of his life. Please go get checked. You may be able to control it with medications or therapies.
