Breast pain

Hi

I am 39 years old.  Unmaried.  Four months back, I found a breast in teh left outer qudrant of my left breast and underwent mammogram, FNA, ultrasond etc.. it was benign just pus and all went went.. Forthe last 2 months i am geting interrmitent pain in the opposite direction in the same breast, like a nerve pulling.. I thought it may be due to digestion but have taken Ocid for the last 2 days but the pain is less but stilll there at times.  Do tell me is it something to be taken seriously

Hi
Thanks for keeping me posted!
It could be malignancy but since you had a clear mammogram 4 months back, chances are less. The other possibility like I said earlier is adhesions. These can cause sever pain. Also at times acidity, gall bladder problems like stones and pancreatitis are found to be the cause of such pains. Hence all these conditions will have to be ruled out. It is also possible that there is some pus still left. Please discuss these possibilities with your doctor and get yourself examined. Hope this helps. Take care!

Hi

thanks for the answer  I only drink tea and that too just 2 times a day and no other drink, no smoking, no alcohol, but try to reduce this. Also, one thing i want to mention that i have no lump on that side and the pain is so severe that it goes to the back and is through all the upper back. I have taken ocid for two days, the first day it helped but after teh second day teh pain is teh same.. just want to know can ths be malignant

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If the pain is reduced on taking Ocid, then continue this and avoid tea, coffee, fuzzy drinks, alcohol, smoking, spicy and oily food. See if it helps. Also if you had pus drained and now feel a pull in opposite direction, then this could be due to adhesions. Please discuss this with your doctor and get this examined. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
