Can Ovaries Grow back?

I recently had my Ovaries and Tubes removed! My Dr. said she had left remnents on both sides, cause they we're twisted and growing on to the Ureters?! Iam wondering if they can grow back?? I also had Cyst on both Ovaries when removed! Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks so much for your info! I truly appreciate it! They weren't cancerous, but i guess they we're both twisted and attached to the Ureters! I nnever thought to ask why they we're all twisted!

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The remnants of ovaries left behind can grow back if they are cancerous. So the biopsy report of the removed ovaries will have to be checked. If there was no cancerous change, then the ovaries will not grow back and may atrophy totally with time.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
