High Monocytes
I have MCTD and a chronic low white cell count. Now I have high monocytes (12.1) and low albumin serum (3.5). Have had chronic facial edema which they have not determined the source of yet. A cat scan was done on the SVC which came back negative. There are times when I feel pressure in my head and ears and at times my throat feels tight, and sharp pains across my bottom jaw. No problems with my heart or blood pressure. Ideas anyone?

im no doctor but certain infections can be a cause have you checked for that sort of thing??
