Hi
Thanks for keeping me posted!
No, it would not have shown. For a spinal tumor, you need a MRI of the spine.
Hope this helps. I think you should discuss this with your neurologist. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

wow,,,i would not have thought something like tumor in my spine as a possibility.
i had stomach issues awhile back, and ended up having two ct scans a month apart, with iodine contrast,,would this have chowed anything like that if it was possibly there?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Back pain worse when sitting or lying down and feels better with movement is usually caused by ankylosing spondylitis. This is a genetic condition. Medicines, physiotherapy, exercises and drugs to suppress immunity are the mainstay of treatment.

A back pain that is worse on lying down or felt mainly on lying down can also be due to a tumor within the spinal cord. A neurological examination can pinpoint the site. A CT scan or a MRI will be surely required.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Hello,

I would suggest that you consult a spine surgeon and go for an mri. In the meanwhile, sleep on a hard surface, avoid pillow and sleep on your back.
