Migraine and sharp pain only the right side of my head through my right eye

Last year I went to see my eye doctor about a sharp right pain that was only going through my right eye.  He could not find anything wrong so, he sent me to the doctor.  I was on Orthro-Evra and she took me off the patch.  The consisted of acute sharp pains that would last about 3 to 4 hours.  Nausea and a loss of appetite came went the pain.  The doctor said that she did not know what was going on.  I still have the pains but they are not sharp acute pains anymore.  The pain is only in the right side of my head. What is wrong with me?

I'm not sure if the pain you are referring to is just regular migraine pain, or something else.

I do know that when I have a migraine, it's usually just one side of my head that hurts, and the pain generally hovers over one eye...or righ in the bridge of my nose. The eye pain feels like pressure over one eye, like the pain is radiating right from my eye.

Hope this helps.
