Pleas Someone! Extreem pain in my UPPER stomach Dr. cant figure it out

Tags: Pain in, extreem pain in stomach
i have been to a couple doctors and a specialist and still have no answers. Here are my syptoms:
first I start to feel a severe pain in my UPPER stomach . . if you take your right hand and lay it flat on your stomach with your pinky finger laying just above your belly button.  .  the pain is all where your hand is covering. I have a pretty decent pain tolerence but this cripples me.
next I start shaking and sweating LOTS
I get diarreah and a nasea but I dont always throw up.
It usually happens in the middle of the night but not always and it lasts between 3 and 5 hours although I just had a  day where i got 3 of them in 24 hours.
This happens once every couple months but it has been 6 months between the last 2.
I have had a gullbladder efficiency test that turned out okay and I have had ultra sounds and x-rays. . no one knows. Please HELP

An Upper Endoscopy is a scope of the esophagus, stomach and part of the small intestines.  He/she (physician) can visually view a problem and obtain a biopsy too.
I would recommend this.

Have you had any Upper Endoscopies done?  If not, I would recommend one ASAP.

Have you seen a GI Specialist?

for the diarrhea, you can eat apple peels. the Pectin in the peelings are very good for diarrhea. Raspberries, and tea with no sugar. and dont over exercise, for that too causes spasms.

If the pain is running from the top of your stomach to you navel, sounds like a muscle spasm. when I went to the doctor for that, he told me it comes from waking up in the morning, and not stretching. can you believe that. he prescribed me some 600 milligram Motrin and said when the pain goes away, when you get up in the mornings, stretch 2-3 times a week daily.

Thanks for all the input. Here is some more info on me:
I am a 31 year old white female. I am in excellent health other than these unexplained  attacks. I have had three kids no c-sections. these started about 2 years ago and happen very iregularly. I have had xrays while they are happening and they saw nothing (i think they were checking for gull stones). I have kept food journals and could find nothing at all in common with each attack. when i first started getting them they were comming about 2 times a month but now only every couple months but has been 6 months inbetween the last 2.
thanks so much for trying to help!!

What would help those of us who have no idea who you are, would be to know if you are male or female, and your age, How long this has been happening, did it start slow and get worse?/ Well, I am going to go on what you said here,
I am going to assume you are a young man and this started slow and got worse all of a sudden, I.B.S. ,Glut in intolerance, and Crones can can begin in your teens thru early 30s, Your body may be attacking the food you eat because your immune system mistakes it for a virus much like when you have the flu, your body attacks the virus every way possible, by rushing it our of your body as diarrhea or vomiting. Try some gasX for now and or Pepto, No need to spend  full price on name brands, the 99cent store has Gas pills Just read the box to make sure they were NOT made in China or India, You could end up worse. If this keeps up, go see a Dr.

Hiya, Sounds awful! Have the docs thought about or investigated for Gall Stones?

I had them a few years ago and the pain is unbearable. If it is gall stones they will be acting up because of fat in something you have eaten - or eggs. Chocolate cake, pizza and cream used to set mine off!

A scan will be able to determine if it is stones.

Hope that helps.

Mel.
