Sharp burning pain in collar bone, back of the neck, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands?

48 year old female.
Been about 2 weeks. The pain makes me light headed and dizzy, and I have trouble sleeping. I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome as well as gastric reflux problems.
5'7" and 165 pounds.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Hi! What you have is probably Scalene Myofascial Pain Syndrome. When scalene muscle is the cause of pain, the pain is referred to chest, inner lining of scapula (shoulder bone), shoulder, posterior and lateral sides of the arm right up to the thumb and index finger. Physiotherapy helps.
Other than this it can be shingles or pinched nerve.
I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Hope this helps. Take care!

yeah, you'd probably want to consult about that with a doctor. GERD and IBS can be managed with proper medications and lifestyle modifications.
