Swollen clitoris

The area around the clitorus is very swollen and painful.  The only thing I can think of is that I was running two days ago in running tights and maybe they irritated this area.  I have been taking ibuprofen to relieve the pain.  Do you think it is serious?  Will it go away on its own or should I see a doctor.

i have this friend and she told me her boyfriend went down on her but as soon as he got done she told me that her clitoris was swollen. so the next day when she work up she was complain to me that its still swollen an it looks like it has a hickey on it but she also told me that its sore, is that serious and will it go away
